COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Update 25th March 2020
A Message from Gavin Hydes, Group Chief Executive
Following Taoiseach Leo Varadkar's announcement yesterday, we are very much aware and respectful of the Government's message that all Irish citizens and businesses must play their part to protect the most vulnerable in our society.
As per the Government's published list of essential retail outlets, our Aftersales service and parts departments are deemed as essential retail services. Therefore, our Aftersales departments will remain fully operational, while adhering to all social distancing and hygiene protocols, as usual until further notice.
Our physical car retail sales showrooms are now closed; however, we will continue to deliver all existing new and used car orders to our customers over the coming weeks. We will also continue to support customers who wish to purchase a new or used car, via our remote contact options available on our digital dealership platform.
This is now live and will allow you to obtain a part exchange valuation on our customer valuation app, request a personalised video, have your questions answered via live chat with our digital tele-support team. In addition, you may apply online for finance and request to have your car delivered or collection from one of our dealerships, all without having to leave your home.
If you would like to follow our progress, we will use our social media pages to keep you updated on everything our teams are doing to support our customers and the communities we operate in.
The health, safety and welfare of our Joe Duffy team and customers during what is an ever-changing situation, remains my priority. We will take all necessary steps to support our customers and employees in any way that we can during this challenging period.
